Return & Refund Policy for Cakes
Due to the perishable nature of our cakes, we have a strict no-return policy for cakes due to their perishable nature. Once your cake has been delivered, it cannot be returned or exchanged. However, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, so we will address any issues with damaged or incorrect orders under certain conditions.
Eligibility for Refunds/Replacements
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns for cakes under any circumstances. This includes orders that are opened, partially consumed, or simply not to your personal taste or if you didn’t like the cake. We do not offer refunds/replacements for "change of mind" or personal preferences.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your cake immediately upon receiving it. If your cake is damaged or if you received the wrong order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. We will work quickly to resolve the issue by offering a replacement or refund based on the situation.
To process your request, photographic evidence of the damage or incorrect order will be required.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Perishable goods: Cakes are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged or incorrect.

Custom cakes: Personalized or custom cakes, including cakes made to special order, are non-returnable.
Exchanges
As cakes are perishable, exchanges are not possible. The quickest way to get the cake you want is to place a new order once we’ve resolved any issues with the original order
Refunds
If your cake is eligible for a refund (e.g., damaged or incorrect), we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund.

How to Request a Return or Report an Issue
If you’ve received a damaged or incorrect cake, or if there’s another issue with your order, please contact us immediately at order@sweetnotsalted.co.uk. Include photos of the issue and any other relevant details. We will guide you on the next steps.
